57 Annual Congress of the American College of Sports


From 1to 5June is the 57thAnnual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) held in Baltimore,Maryland,USA.For the first time,taking place this year to coincide with the annual conference of the World Congress ACSMs also "Health Sport is the medicine" (Exercise Is Medicine) instead.The dual meeting provides interesting topics for people from academia,teaching and clinical practice,as well as for students in the prosperous area of ​​health. 57thAnnual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine:

The American College of Sports Medicine is accredited by the "Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education".The following continuing education credits (CE credits) have been applied for or granted:

American Medical Association (AMA) PRA credits: The American College of Sports Medicine estimates the ACSM annual conference with a maximum of 32.25 AMA PRA Category 1 credits ™.

American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM),CECs: The American College of Sports Medicine's Professional Education Committee calls for the ACSM Annual Meeting a maximum of 32.25 ACSM continuing education points (Continuing Education Credits).

American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP): An application for CME credits has been submitted to the American Academy of Family Physicians.The decision regarding the allocation of training points is in progress.

National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA) - CEUs: The American College of Sports Medicine is recognized by the NATA Board of Certification,Inc. and may thus assign continuing education credits for Certified Athletic Trainers (ATs).For the ACSM Annual Meeting 32.25 CEUs will be awarded.

Hard :(..biomechanics, Exercise Physioligy, Mydiocardal Ischemia and Infraction, principles in behavior change (that might be fun). The Influence on Emotional Distress on Chronic Illness, Exercise in Patients with End Stage Renal Disease.
That doesn't even make 5% of the study course :(
I thought I could het ACSM certified in a few month's but I don't think I can :(

Hard...and takes some time... but I think trainers should aim for the best one out there and just invest a little more time.
