CBS Sports Network (known simply as CBS College Sports and formerly with CSTV) is a television network and the first devoted exclusively to college sports.

Started in 1999 when Chris Bevilacqua approached the co-founders of Classic Sports Network, came up with the idea for a network with all college sports 24 hours.

Launched as the National College Sports Network in 2002 and was then renamed to College Sports Television (CSTV) in 2003. ] através da DirecTV . CSTV was the first cable channel with independent transmission across the country, [ which? ] by DirecTV .

On February 12, 2008, it was announced that, as part of the integration process of CSTV on CBS Sports, the network in March, would be renamed the CBS College Sports Network, in order to match the network's coverage of the NCAA parents Basketball Tournament. Changed the name and logo of the network has become the CBS Sports. The first original show was on CBS College Sports Bracket Breakdown, with contributions from apresntadores as CBS Sports Jim Nantz and Greg Gumbel beyond the usual of CSTV.

Rogers Cable in Canada started loading CBS College Sports Network, in the October 9, 2008. Bell TV in Canada began broadcasting CBS College Sports Network on September 3, 2009.

Glenn Davis, the 1946 Heisman Trophy winner who teamed with Doc Blanchard on the undefeated Army teams of the mid-1940's to form college football's most celebrated backfield pairing, died yesterday at his home in La Quinta, Calif. He was 80.

    I look at the 1st Round matchups and they seem pretty boring and unwatchable.

    I already stated expansion is the worst idea possible, but just want to know what you think about some of these ugly 1st Round ma …/> I sure hope that intelligence prevails and the NCAA keeps the field at 65

      No I wouldn't cause I feel the same way you do and I personally thought it was fine at 32 teams.

    • Supposedly he's becoming a sports agent. after that motorcycle accident he was released from the Bulls and force to payback some of his contract due to renig'n on the deal. he had a motorcycle clause in his contract. tri … to that bad leg injury. they said his legs where turned the wrong way and he was found pretty much upside down after the crash screaming he knew he f*** up (me paraphrasing) you wont see him in a NBA uniform ever again.
