  • Avatar James How do you order a channel on Comcast cable?
Mar 22, 2013 by James | Posted in TiVO & DVRs

I am trying to order Fox College Sports Atlantic for the upcoming college hockey games tonight. When i go to the channel, it says "For ordering information, press info." I pressed info, and the options are listings, watch, favorite, and lock. None of them do anything. Any help?

    • Try calling the cable company and asking them, i bet they know.

  • Avatar What is going on with the cable tv announcement that major networks may be taken off soon?
Dec 29, 2009 by | Posted in Other - Television

I have received and seen news concerning tv problems: major networks might be dropped from our cable tv provider. This would eliminate a lot of football, wrestling, cartoons, and other programs that we cannot do without. They say the problem is over money - for the networks, while the networks say that the cable companies do not want to pay enough for rising programming costs. What can we do about this? This could be a real disaster.

    • I say drop em all. They are riddled with ads every 2 seconds. Then the cable or satellite company still charges u to see em.

And also u can get news faster from the net. And watch whatever shows u want from the net too...and watch em when u wanna and not just when they play em.

Actually in my opinion cable and satellite ain't worth the money for what u get....or don't get.
